Build start DEC 1 2011 - Today is DEC 1 2015 - Four years building.
This year I finished the canard except for the profiling and the big achievement was to get the whole thing off site and mount the wings to the spar. Then that assembly to the fuselage and then the winglets to that as well as lining up the canard
I had my workshop building altered to get things in and out. The winglets were stuctually secured and the rudders made and positioned along with modified lower winglets and a fairing. This really took some time. I've also cut out the ailerons and should have those done in a month or two which will complete the wings for now.
Last year I said ..."I'd like to have the basic airframe completed by the end of year 4." OK lets say the same thing again... but go for the end of year 5.
I have settled on an engine from ACE which will be based on a Lycoming 360 but with more horses and less weight.
