Brief Description:  Elevator top skin layup

Top skin is a similar job to the bottom skin. I made things as light as I could as usual and even the room was a bit hotter.

After the usual micro, it was pure epoxy on the bare glass and tube areas. Then the two ply layup as you can see beginning in pic 1.

Once done I peel plyed the LE per plans although this gets 'blended' anyway. The TE gets a bit of micro for the transition where foam is removed for the glass to glass. A bit of peel ply on top helps spread it. I hope I have enough but the peel ply will make any extra easy. Most of this filler will be removed.

...then I can weigh the parts I really wonder what it will come out at. I need to be able to balance these within spec. It is very important.

After cure a clean up and then I need to read the plans a bit more for the next step. I'm using the LE plans, the Cozy plans, the Cozy Girrrls updated plans for the LE with the offset tubes and the Roncz plans all at once. Strangly this seems to work.
