Build start DEC 1 2011 - Today is DEC 1 2014 - Three years building.
This year I completed the CS Spar and in all, 8 spar cap layups were done. Each a huge job. The left and right wings are built although ailerons are yet to be cut out.
I've built the canard and have just begun doing the elevators. A few days on the nose light took place as well.
While it doesn't seem that much I really picked up the pace this year. These planes take a lot of time.
The plan now is to complete the canard, make the winglets then take everything off site and assemble it all at once. Thats going to be a big job. By then I'll need to have my front window removable so I can get the fuselage with spar attached back in.
I'd like to have the basic airframe completed by the end of year 4. Its going to be an adventure.
