After the cutout BID lining it was just a clean up then the .25" 2024T3 piece is installed with micro. After that a .016" shield with 5mt epoxy so the sheer web can be layed up without a huge hole! It will get plenty of real epoxy when that happens!
I couldn't help myself and alodined it all. If its alloy it get alodine. If only to help the epoxy grab better and its good to know I've done what I can for corrosion protection.
Pic 2 shows the access hole done and the final pic the right wing from above. I decided to pull all this out of the jig and put the left wing in. I just want to get this done on both.
I might just have a look at the two wings side by side on the bench before moving on too. I want to check the angles of the big end block FC1 to ensure they are similar. That will be towards the end of the week the way its going.
