The plans say bandsaw or hotwire to get the cores cut. My bandsaw is way too small and I have no hotwire so out with the hand jigsaw. The electric one doesn't go that to that depth.
I just hacked around inside of the line and it was all good. I glued the pieces in with all the big hat pins I had and it is a good method for this type of situation.
FC1 is together as you can see from the final pic. Those inner cores do come out OK. I was very careful not to get glue on them.
It has a lot of joins and no doubt hours of fun later getting that perfect smooth finish on the foam which will allow the best possible layup.
