Brief Description: Main Gear Tabs V3 Position check and flox
This step is putting the gear back on so that the tubes can be glued with wet flox into position on the tabs.
I was very pleased that the gear went back on to say the least! There is a little wiggle room where the tabs can be slide up or down a few fractions of an inch to ensure it is again at the exactly correct position.
I kept rechecking distance from the spar and distance to the axle position using the two plumb bobs and rulers. I had to play with about 0,2" moving the ttabs on the tubes until it was spot on.
Then I undid one bolt and applyed the wet flox and repositioned it. Once that was correct I undid the other side and again applied the wet flox. Doing one side at a time made it pretty easy to control.
I rechecked several times. Ensured it was all OK and left it to cure. Feeeewwww. Happy to have that one in the bag.
