Fitting the firewall took some time. It requires three holes each side for the longerons to penetrate. These may well need adjusting to get the whole fuselage staright. Its a start.
The front seat was also fitted boths side. It will be 2" forward of plans to give an improved CofG given a larger engine planned and smaller modern battery. There will also be a little more room for the passenger. Testing in JZE has shown this position is ok for someone my height.
For the first time the project briefly had a 3D look rather than just flat parts.
