This step requires 15 ply of bid in 4 areas. I first preped the 60 pieces of glass required.
I had been told they can be cut to exact size during the layup but after one try I accepted that I just needed to lay up with no air and, correct fibre direction and correct glass/resin ratio. How to cut wet glass to exact sizes I'm yet to learn.
It was a very big job and next time would be better in two goes. I worked all day and into the night. The room was at the correct temperature and I needed a separte batch for each area. Even then two batches each may be better next time as it gives an easier work time.
