The glass reinforcement for the landing gear I did in two stages and peel plyed the1st part.
First spent some time checking that the gear would fit correctly. The plans are wrong by 0.2" AND the diagram sheet is also incorrect showing the bottom of the sides with a different curve. I later found it was covered in a CP.
I first cut the six plys of BID per side to size and then a standard layup taking particular care to ensure no air and correct bias. This area takes major loads.
