Brief Description: Fabricated and installed canopy seat plate
Following the description given on the Rans Clan website I added a sheet metal plate to seal the gap btween the canopy and fuselage. The kit uses a piece of foam in this area. I joggled the sheet instead of using a shim and added a handle (yellow part) so that the canopy can be slid open and closed while keeping ones fingers clear of the pinch hazard. Also incorporated the slot for the canopy key lock in the seal plate.
