I decided to e-mail the FAA MIDO office for my airworthiness inspection. Much to my surprise they were very friendly and willing to come out and inspect the airplane. Waho - they do it for free. I submitted the paperwork thru e-mail, and had to re-submit it twice because of obsolete forms. Once the forms were off of their website. Paperwork finally accepted, the inspection was postponed once due to bad weather. Weather finally cleared they ( three inspectors) came out on a cold day and spent three hours carfully looking at the airplane and paperwork. It was all good and they issued a Airworthiness Certificate on the spot. I now have an Official airplane, instead of a lawn ornament that looks like a airplane!
