Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site. I live in Orange County, California and am about 5.25 years into my project to scratch build a Zenith Zodiac CH 650 in my two-car garage. Tail number N31415 is reserved.

I have chosen to power it with a Corvair 164cid 100hp engine converted for aircraft use following the detailed conversion process perfected by William Wynne (www.FlyCorvair.com). This six-cylinder, horizontally opposed, air-cooled engine has powered hundreds of airplanes since its introduction in 1960.

For the sake of my sanity, I don't think of myself as a pilot -- I am a parts fabricator and assembly maker. Someday I will have an airplane. Then I will fly.

But in the meantime, I have a hobby that is personally challenging, cost-effective (when considering the end product) and very educational.

Larry
