Decided to work on firewall openings today. With the IO360 I used the plan locations for Fuel, Throttle, Governor, Mixture, Manifold Pressure, Still deciding on wiring passthroughs but I think they will be 1 inch above the top rivet line and 1.5 inches outboard of the two top skin ribs. The fuel line requires a doubler that goes on firewall side and in my case, interferes with the Starter Contactor Mount. Funny that one of the rivets requires me to drill out one firewall rivet. I had already done that to rivet nutplate on for contactor. Now I drilled it out AGAIN so the doubler can use that same hole. Go figure. Trimmed the interfering corner, made all holes, primed and painted the doubler and big washer with 1000 deg enamel paint. Also that keeps dissimmilar metals from direct contact.
Fuel Line Fitting and Doubler.
Doubler trimmed around Starter Contactor, painted with hi temp paint.
