Brief Description:  Starting the Ailerons

Well, I have been waiting for a Vans shipment of missing parts for the fuel tank and some replacement fuselage parts so I thought I would go ahead and build the ailerons. I should have started that before I sent my Vans order in. Guess what? There are 28 aileron stiffeners which were predrilled, anodized and just waiting to be installed. Problem is that all the predrillled aileron skin holes do not match the predrilled aileron stiffener holes. Why am I not surprised. If you look at the two photos, I tried to capture how the two sets of predrilled holes do not match up, no matter if you reverse them, or use the ones from the opposite aileron. I even tried staring at them for at least 15 minutes to see if they by chance would align themselves. I don't know how that happened but add it to the list of unwelcome surprises here. And, as usual, I don't have any angle of this thickness so here goes another order to vans. On to the next surprise.
