Smoke oil tank and future Bison Bag (straddles the flap tube behind pilot seat) took some planning where to install the tie down rings. Figured that out and installed four reinforced baggage tie downs. The two rear ones were mounted on the rear baggage wall outboard as far as practical. That shared strength with the previously installed side cover screws as well as the existing screws holding the rear baggage wall to the fuselage bulkhead. I realized they don't need to be at the ''bottom'' of the compartment. They can mount several inches above the floor and still provide the holding power for stuff that is being secured back there. When you think about it, negative Gs are what could stress the connections. All the mounting locations are reinforced and will more than handle the task.
Smoke tank required shifting this tie down rearward to clear.
Copilot side baggage wall mount.
Reinforcement and attaching hardware. I may cut the bolts down 1 inch.
