Had to make one slight adjustment before drilling the inner AN3 bolt attachment holes. I realiized I was measuring 17 7/8 height not from the ''top'' of the longerons, but from the top of the F605 bulkhead. Bad choice. Result was I needed to raise the roll bar .135 inch on each side to get the proper height. Thank goodness I did not drill any side mounting holes yet. Phew!!! Used a long level on top of the roll bar and measured at each side down to the longerons and achieved 17 7/8. Inner bolts are located 7/8 inch from bottom of inner attach angle (per RV7 plans. No measurement on RV 6 plans). 2 bolts on each inner side of the roll bar complete. Drilled #40, #30, #19, 3/16 then #187 reamer. Stay squared to the attach metal while drilling. My eyeballs said square but next time I will use a drill guide as there are later holes that need exact precision, more than eyeball. Tightened nuts down so I can later finish drilling the outer sides then disassemble it all.
