Brief Description: Leveled and secured leading edge ribs
Threaded rod was inserted through tooling holes in leading edge ribs. Then I used vinyl tubing and zip ties to position each wobbly rib in the correct level position and zip tied the cut pieces of tubing to secure the position. To make them, I cut off pieces of the tubing, pushed the piece onto a philips screwdriver and used a razor knife to slice down the piece of tubing to open it up so it could be placed on the rod. Zip tied it tight. When you have two of them pushing a rib from both sides, the rib stays nice and rigid. Also, trying to locate all the spar bolts that seem to be missing. Looks like I'll have to find out what sizes they are and get them ordered. I believe there are 52 AN3-16A that bolt the spars into the fuselage in addition to the NAS close clearance big boy bolts that hold the spar nice and secure for those high G turns I am looking forward to doing.
Secured the threaded rod to the jig by putting a nut on each side of a clamped piece of wood.
