Brief Description:  Wing Fairing 3

I enlarged the #40 holes to #30 in the top wing rib flange/fairing. I marked 2 1/2 inch spacing on the fuel tank flange and drilled #30 in 7 locations. Then I used those holes to reach through with 12" bit to mirror 7 locations on the lower tank flange. Strap duplicated to the fairing, enlarged all to #19, dimpled top fuel tank and fairing and tested the fit. It all worked well. To be honest, on one hole, using the #30 strap duplicator, I thought I was in a #30 hole, but wasn't. I was past it, drilling a fairing hole into thin air underneath. Its the strap's fault. Not mine. I filled that mistake with an oops (small head) rivet. Its embarrassing and I feel better confessing. Also, I will trim the fairing to a narrower width aft of the main spar to mainting an equal distance from attach holes to the outside edge. Also, I'll slightly roll that outer edge so it snugs down nicely when screwed in place.
