The GTN750 has 10 case ground wires. The SL40 has 2 case grounds. The PMA5000 Audio Panel has 4 case grounds. All were made with solder sleeves containing a ground wire. Some of the device grounds had combined ground wires in the solder sleeve. I only had to redo one where somehow I let the solder sleeve ground wire move out of position when heating it up and it did not get soldered correctly. 2nd try fixed that. Also this serves as a reminder to pay close attention... even when sweat is running in your eyes and your eyeglasses are smudgy and your rib cage is being compressed against some metal edge and your heat gun and solder splice and 3 wires don't want to work together nicely and you are using your spare finger that has a previous burn mark to squeeze against another one to lessen the pain. I'd try to tell my wife that story and she'd have a very logical response about doing it right the first time everytime.....pix coming.
