Brief Description: Temp mounted the gear weldments and main gear
I made two 2 ft sections of false spar 1.20 inches thick and each 2 ft long. Marked and drilled the spar holes into the wood and began securing it with the steel plates and mounted the landing gear weldments. Tested two very tight nuts in hard to reach places on the gear weldments and they went on fine after a small learning curve. Dug out the gear legs and installed them. Double checked the gear leg measurements and they were spot on. 85.5 inches wide. Now that all the nutplates are installed for the cabin floor panels, It was a lot of work to install and secure everything, only to take it apart again later. I am getting used to that.
