Brief Description:  Rivet bottom outboard skin

Oh, what a joyous day. Finally, after all the other prep work, it was time to close the wing. I started with the right wing and began riveting on the bottom outboard skin. If you plan your attack you will be pleased that the skin goes on very very simply with very little frustration. That little titanium bucking bar has been such a fine tool. Its small enough and dense enough to manipulate inside with no trouble. When you're hanging on to it with two fingers trying to press it to the shop head you will appreciate the density vs holding a steel bar. Not flaming the steel bars, but with the same pressure, they will bounce vs not bouncing with the titanium. Its that simple. Start along the bottom from the overlap outward past the short rib to the next full outboard rib. Then go up two rivets at a time back across that same field. Up two back across.. Once the short rib has been fully set, you can go to the overlap and rivet it all the way up. Then back across to the inspection cover. Finish going up the other ribs that you already started and using the access opening, rivet that siffener between two ribs. Going outboard from there leave the skin free to swing except cleco the rib you will rivet starting bottom all the way to the top. You reach in from the bottom of that compartment and do the inboard corner 1st. Then after the rib is riveted, go back to the bottom and rivet it all the way across to the next rib. Then rivet the top all the way across to the next rib. Repeat until you run out of ribs...
