I purchased four different diameter ridgid brass tubes which could be but together in a telescoping type fashion. They fit within each other firmly, but not difficult to put together. A small amount of T-88 epoxy was placed each external surface to secure. The piece was then cut to length. Granted brass is very soft material...thus, I I will only be able to use it a few times, but it only cost me just under $ 5.00 The resulting outside and inside dimensions were perfect, and allowed a nice accurate drilling of the elevator horns. I have plenty of brass stock left over, but not sure if I will have need to fabricate any other bushings.
