Brief Description: Intersection Fairing - Left Wheel
Removed the wheel from the axle assembly and unbolted the nose wheel fairing bracket. Measured and drilled four platenuts per plans. Deburred, primed and riveted platenuts to the fairing bracket. Reinstalled wheel pants and temporarily clecoed the wheel pants back into place. Installed Upper and lower intersection fairings. Drilled holes to temporarily hold the lower intersection fairings into place.
Next steps will be to epoxy the lower intersection fairings into place and run a few strips of fiberglass over the perimeter to strengthen the joint. Ordered some epoxy materials from ACS for the upcoming glass work.
