Started to bolt the horizontal stabilizer to the fuselage and noticed a top row of rivets below the empennage deck that was not done as part of the quick build. Not sure how I missed this before and why it was not completed as part of the quick build. Had to now get my compressor for more riveting which was not planned.
Riveted remaining AN470 rivets and bolted down the horizontal and vertical stabilizer. Reinstalled the left side shim which was made during the original empennage setup and hole drilling.
Did a smart level check across the fuselage and empennage and both are on the same horizontal plane, zero degree difference. I did the same check with the rudder back edge and that aligned perfectly to 90 degrees offset from the horizontal stabilizer.
Nice when all things that were done over 18 months ago come together perfectly!
