Lined out rough cut lines with a sharpie and cut out aft fairing to clear the elevator horns. After this was done the part fit nice and flat. Drilled out rivets in the hoirzontal and vertical stabilizer per plans and drilled and cleco'ed through the fiberglass fairing. Nice that the fairing is translucent and you can clearly see the centers of the holes.
Next steps are to: 1) drill the holes full size for a #6 flush screw 2) Drill, countesink #6 nutplates on the horz and vert stabilizer 3) Countersink the fiberglass for the #6 screws 4) Final cut and sanding outline 5) Start bottom fairing assembly per plans
