Brief Description:  Horizontal Stabilizer Fiberglass tip (right)

Cut styrofoam and epoxied into place on the right side. This side came out better as I scribed the angle closer than the left side. I may add a layer of fiberglass to the left to reduce the gap. There is an angle that needs to be scribed on the front tip if you want to keep the gap as close as possible. I did this on the right side by using a scribe and sanding off a little at a time. The left side was not done this way, so there is more of a gap. You can see the gap on the previous log picture. You can also see that the styrofoam is inset a bit from the trailing edge of the tip. This is required because the elevator swings in an arc and will rub against the tip.You can also fix this by beveling the cut to conform to the arc swing of the elevator but this was too complicated to do so I opted for a flat surface that was inset a bit from the edge.
