Brief Description: 95% done - final punch list before DAR Inspection
|
|
Spent some time planning out what remaining items need to be done before my DAR inspection. List getting smaller and more detailed but no more big tasks left.
1) Torque bottom wing bolts (crow foot set on order)
2) Finish drilling remaining heat shield bolt for Mixture firewall shield
3) Finish cabin heat cable installation
4) Reinstall EMS Skyview module
5) Complete Elevator, rudder, aileron and flap rigging
6) Install Rudder fairing and mount tail strobe
7) Fix front canopy skin from rubbing on open / close
8) Finish right wing flap cotter pin / washer (need parts from ACS)
9) Install right wing DB9 Servo connection and power (heat gun, heat shrink & DB9 connector)
10) Secure elevator trim wiring (heat shrink and adel clamps)
11) Install Fuel Tank Attach brackets; check torque on all "Z" Tank attach brackets.
12) Finish running NAV coax to avionics stack and terminate with RF connector
13) Test all avionics, pitot heat, lights, etc. (Need headsets)
14) Install and safety tie Prop and crush plate; Install spinner
15) Complete Weight and Balance (Install all interior, access panels, farings, etc.) Get Scales
16) Complete Fuel level sensor calibration
17) Complete Skyview Compass Calibration
18) Complete Fuel volume / capacity testing; 20 gpm; straight/level, climb profile
19) Engine first start; Drain preservative oil and add break in oil; pre-oil engine; Install spark plug
20) Schedule DAR inspection after successful first engine start
21) Flight Test planning
