Brief Description:  Rivet Rear Fuselage skins

Found out that the quickbuilders made a mistake and put #8 platenuts for the elevator access panel on the right side. Drilled out and reinstalled #6 platenuts.

Marked and sanded down horizontal stabilizer gap seals per plans. Removed horizontal stabilizer and drilled 1/8" holes for 6-32 roll tapping. Dimpled gap seal and installed remaining rivets. Plans are incorrect in some places for the rear skins to the longeron. Most rivets are 5 length but there are two places where a 6 lenght is needed. This happened in three places on each side where there is an extra tab of sheetmetal that gets riveted together on the inside of the spar. Most of the rivets just attach through the skins to the longeron and 5 length is sufficient.

Did final sanding to the elevator stop angle bracket. I think I am going to epoxy prime the empennage deck as it looks like there was no sherwin willaims primer applied. Since this is accessable it makes sense to do now.
