Brief Description: Right Side Canopy Rail alignment gap
The pictures are the right side canopy frame rail and show that the rail is sitting inboard about 1/8" with respect to the fuselage skin. The rail should sit flush vertically with the fuselage skin so that when you riven on the canopy skirt, the bottom of the skirt lines up with the bottom of the fuselage skin.
If the canopy skirt is riveted without making changes to the rail, the side skin will sit inboard about 1/8”. I think the canopy frame can be bowed out more by using a shrinking tool on the bottom angle of the rail..
