Made a mounting standoff for the ELT antenna out of UHDM stock. The picture below has a screw holding the block while the paint dries. The idea is to screw the flat part to the side of the canopy frame and the hole will hold the antenna ball tip in position away from the plexiglass. Still need to experiment on the exact location but the antenna looks like it is in the best position.
