Installed the left wingtip lens per instructions. Drilled the holes for the nut plate and countersunk the clear plexiglass. Tried to rivet the fiberblass with a bucking bar and rivet gun but did not have any success. Checked on VAF and saw that a few builders just prosealed the nut plate on. I decided to do that instead. The holes were already drilled and I will just fill them with epoxy down the road before finish painting. The proseal takes some time to get full strength and I am not sure if when fully cured if it can withstand the full torque rotation of the screw. If the proseal does not hold I will use epoxy as a follow-up.
