Brief Description:  Red Cube and ATC Fuseholders install

Been away from building about 6 weeks with the thanksgiving holiday and year end work items. Got back to building finally. Hope to do some significant work over the December holidays.

Made the shelf for the red cube fuel totalizer and riveted to the firewall. Had a custom length hose made for the connection between the engines driven fuel pump and the input side of the red cube. Fuel line is 2 inches above the exhaust manifold. Still have to install Adel clamps as shown in the picture. Waiting for a specialty tool from Brown Tool specifically made to hold the clamps. Tried for 30 minutes to get a bold and nut on the two clamps and finally gave up.

Made a bus bar from Copper and installed two ANL Fuse holders and the Ammeter shunt. The two ANL fuses (40 Amp - Standby Alternator) and (60 amp - Primary Alternator) will be attached to the bottom of the two fuse holders. The bottom of the Ammeter shunt will be connected to the battery. This arrangement will allow the shunt to monitor current inflow/outflow from the battery. A switch from the panel will control which alternator is active (Primary, Off, Secondary). By reading the ammeter reading it will be easy to tell during run up that both alternators can charge the battery.

A wire from the top ammeter shunt will be connected to the main buss of the Vertical Poser system and will penetrate the firewall somewhere above the ammeter shunt.
