Brief Description:  Primed parts and Finished Aileron Pushrod

Cleaned the inside of the aileron pushrod by cutting up a scotchbrite strip and pushing it through the tube with some laquer thinner. I then shoved a paper towel through the tube to clean out the debris. Came out nice and clean after I shot some compressor air through the tube to dry it out. Mixed up Azko two part primer and primed the rudder stops and some other misc parts. I then took the remaining primer, taped up one end of the tubes and sloshed around for about 5 minutes. Drained and let dry.

Next step I drilled out the holes to final size using #30 bit and then measureed the rivets for length. The 12 size is a bit too long so I shaved about a 64th and measured with my gap tool. Setup my C frame rivet tool with a cup bit. Rivets came out pretty good. They stick out a bit but according to the rivet tool they are the correct head size.
