Brief Description: Bottom engine mount hole to firewall alignment.
Did my engine mount line up with the pre punched holes on the firewall? Nope, not even close. They are an eighth or more off. It’s like the engine mount is shrunk and all the pre punched firewall holes are towards the outside of the engine mount holes. My brother Steve reported that his 4 pre punched firewall holes aligned perfectly with the engine mount. Really? I don’t believe it.
These are the bottom holes. You can see the engine mount is interior to the pre punched firewall holes. The pre punched holes are less then a 1/16” from the edge of the engine mount hole. That’s close. The top two hole are the same.
