Brief Description: Drilling Canopy Release Shaft and Arm Together.
Drilling the WD-619 Canopy Release Shaft and WD-618 Canopy Release Arm. This was not obvious how to best drill these 2 together. The angle between them is weird and it's hard steel, not aluminum. I finally came up with the method shown here. Once again I'm using the lathe with the milling/drilling attachment. The assembly is bolted onto a small piece of 2x4. The 2x4 is then easily clamped for drilling. I got a perfect size and located hole. Oh good.
