Brief Description: Center Section - Prime ribs and misc.
I’m still using the Stuart System primer. My gun went bad and it shot primer out in spurts. I took it completely apart and soaked the parts is MEK all night. It didn’t dissolve the gooped up primer but did soften it up a bit. Well, it still spurts.
Harbor Fright had a side walk sale and I bought a new simple touch up gun for 10 bucks. It’s not a HVLP but it worked great. Let’s see how long it lasts. I Should have bought two.
I ran out of primmer so I didn’t get the floor skins or bottom skin done. But at least I can now install platenuts.
I primed outside on top of my wire mesh sitting on top of my empennage box. I have them hung up here just to make more room on my outside box.
