Brief Description: Crotch strap - Locate and drill forward bracket.
With the aft bracket located, drilled and clecoed, it’s an easy matter to locate and drill the forward bracket. Basically drill this bracket like the first. Clamp the forward bracket to the clecoed aft bracket with a 1/8” spacer in-between. Drill the top flange, debur, re-clamp and drill the side flange holes.
The only thing left to do is drill the AN5 bolt hole, 5/16” drill bit, in the web of the bracket. Then expand the #40 top flange, seat floor holes to a #8 screw using a #19 drill bit.
