Brief Description: F-704 BH - Drill cover support ribs for snap bushi
These 'Cover support ribs' need large holes in the web to support 3 different sizes of snap bushings. These holes will support fuel lines, brake lines and electrical wires. So the plans saw anyway. All three holes are pre-drilled with a #30 pilot hole. Just clamp it down and run a step drill through them.
Image 3 shows the support bracket that fits on the opposite side of the spar from the short support ribs. The #19 hole was drilled with the support rib. Now drill the holes for the platenut attach rivets. Then counter sink them for a platenut rivet.
