Brief Description: Flap - Counter sink flap spar on hinge side.
Need to machine counter sink the flap main spar on the bottom (Hinge side). The skin will fall into these counter sinks. Keep the hinge clecoed in place to provide stability for the counter sink pilot. I have standardized on the depth of a machine counter sink when a skin dimple needs to fit inside it. I go 5 clicks deeper then flush on the cage. This makes the counter sink radius equal to the dimple radius.
A lot of places on this project require counter sinks that a skin dimple will fit inside. It would be interesting to know how many clicks deeper other builders go.
