With all aileron parts primed, its time to rivet these suckers together. This is the time I get nervious. Can't help it.
1.) rivet the nose rib to the water pipe weight with a pulled rivet. 2.) Cleco, pipe/nose rib to nose skin. Not rivet. 3.) Rivet the spar doubler plates to spar. This is just the interior row of 3 rivets. All squeezed. 4.) Rivet on 2 nutplates for hinge bracket. Trial fit aileron hinge bracket. The #12 holes may need to be reamed due to primer or slight mis-alignment. 5.) Rivet nose ribs to spar. Again squeezed. 6.) Cleco trailing skin on the top only.
At this point you have what you see in image 3. Time to rivet the skins to the top of the spar. How will we do this? This will be interesting.
