Brief Description:  Install DuckWorks landing lights. Part 1

I still need to put the baffle on the tanks but I'm taking a break from working with Pro-Seal. Plus I have a few questions I need to work out before I seal the tanks for good. Question 1 is, should I dig out a few bad rivets of just shave them off later?

So, I'm installing the Duckworks rectangular landing lights in both wings. The instrucions are very step by step. Very little for interpretation. I'm glad about that. Give it to me step by step.

Image 1 shows the outline of the hole. You can see the template stuck on the skin at the bottom right. My first outline was twisted because I aligned the paper template with the inboard rivet line like the instructions say. But those first few rivets are not purpendicular to the leading edge. Instead, daw a horazontal line on the wing even with the cutout. Then move the template over the rivet line. Sure glad I checked this before I cut. That would have been a bad day.

I used a dremel type tool with a small cutoff wheel at high speed to do a rough cut of the hole. Worked really well.
