Finnaly a complete sub assembly. HS rear spar with elevator hinges.
I had to call Vans today because I didn't know which side of the spar to put the rivet shop head and manufacturer head. They said, it does't matter structually but generally put the manufactured head on the thin material and the shop head on the thick. This will distort the thin material hole less because the manufactured head shaft does not expand as much as the shop head shaft.
So, this one assemply had to have - 1 - Flange edge's smoothed. 2 - Spar supports shaped to fit in spar chanel 3 - Spar suport's sanded glass smooth 4 - Holes Drilled 5 - Holes Debured 6 - Dimpled 7 - Degreased 8 - Primed 9 - Riveted
