Brief Description: Tight flush rivet around rear wing spar.
These 5 rivets are around the rear wing spar. They are flush and too close to the rear spar to get the swivel set in there. They are #3 rivets with the exception of the one at the bottom which is a #4. The plans call this rivet out to be universal but we’ve made it flush because other builders have reported wing interference at this location. Anyway, I sanded off the sharp edges of a small scrap of 1/8” aluminum sheet and wrapped it in double sided sticky tape. I stuck it over a rivet head and used the back rivet set that came with my C-Frame. It worked well. All flush with good shop heads.
