I’m still working on the fuselage upside down. I just can’t Stephanie out there for very long to rivet. So, I do what I can.
The shoulder harness anchors seem like an easy task. No fabrication, just drill and debur. Drilling up from the bottom instead down from the top is not as bad as you might think. Pushing the drill up seems natural.
Weird thing about this task was the dimension called out in the plans on where to locate the anchor. It said 17/32” from edge of the bulkhead flange just aft of the anchor. Well, take a look at that flange edge. Very difficult to measure because the flange edge is misshaped and moves for and aft. No way can you get 17/32” accuracy from that flange edge. It will be plus or minus 1/16” at best. Weird.
