I deviated and decided to rivet the 706 bulkhead to the center section before joining the aft and center fuselage section. This was a bit unconventional and I haven’t seen it on any logs. But I do believe its best in that it allows great access to these critical and hard to rivet holes. My greatest concern was how the center section would mate with the aft fuselage. I pondered a great deal. In the end I did it my way and it worked out.
Now, we have 6 baggage ribs to rivet. The outside 4, I bucked the lower hole and squeezed the upper 2. The inside 2 ribs have a rib, for and aft, of the 706 bulkhead and can be tricky. I’ve seen logs where these have been a problem and they get messed up, drilled out and replaced with over size Cherry Max or bolts. Me, I went straight for the Cherry Max. Pull them, be done and be happy. No mess ups to fix. I have said this before; I have no problems with pulled rivets.
