Brief Description:  Disassemble and prep forward fuselage parts.

Today I decided to dismantle the forward section and prep the parts. The good news is that most of them are already edge finished. Mostly I just have to dimple or counter sink and give them a nice polish with a Scotch Brite Pad.

The question. How much deeper then flush do you counter sink an under laying layer? My final answer for today is –
#40 – 4 clicks deeper then flush.
#30 – 6 clicks deeper then flush.

At least that is what I did on these parts. You can see a small halo around the rivet and can feel that it’s just a tad deeper then flush.
