Brief Description: Floor Stiffeners - Drill stiffener flange. Part 5.
At this point all 4 stiffeners are located by drilling the ends. Now put the bottom skin on and drill the stiffener flange through the bottom skin. You will need a helper to drill the first 4 holes, equal distance apart, of each stiffener. Mindy helped me with that. I would say, “Move it inside” or “Move it outside” or “Hold it right there”. Without someone holding it, the center of the flange will move a great deal when you start to drill.
Hint. The floor center cover can actually be pressed into place between the inner two stiffeners to help get them located and hold them in place.
