Brief Description:  Twist and shape F-717 Lower Longeron.

Image one shows how I trimmed the aft end. Image 2 shows how I trimmed the forward end. Turns out, the amount I trimmed from the forward end I should have trimmed from the aft end and visa versa. Why? Because the curved notch in the angle sits to far forward and will interferes with the later to be installed F-684 gusset. I can fix it by moving the notch aft but it’s a bummer having to do that.

This thing needs to be twisted to fit the side skin. I actually twisted it a full 90 degrees to get the few degrees needed. Wow. Make sure you don’t twist the forward flat end.

Then that forward flat end needs to be bent slightly inward. Bend it right at the notch.
