Weird that the forward end of the longeron needs to be trimmed. The plans have you measure curves, bends and twists from the this forward end and now the plans have you trim a variable amount to have ¾” from longeron end to the forward edge of the side skin. Weird.
I clamped the longeron on a workmate and used a hack saw. I trimmed just over 1/8”.
