Brief Description: Mate rear fuselage with center fuselage.
Oh boy, it’s a good day when you get to mate the two halves. Very cool. Turns out it took 4 of us. Really. This includes me, Stephanie my wife, Mindy my daughter and Joyce, Stephanie’s sister.
We turned the rear fuselage upside-down and placed the third saw horse in position where the center fuselage 704 bulkhead will be positioned. We flipped the center fuselage and coarsely put into position. I went underneath to monitor the alignment of the common rivet holes and mini flanges between the two halves. Stephanie and Joyce were on either side of the center section and were pushing and wiggling the center section towards the rear. Mindy was at the aft end pushing towards the center. Came together nice.
